These strange Choas Rifts you call, are portals to the Underworld. Same as the choas rift that opened last year in the Tombs. The enemies are the same as the enemies that invaded Underworld. Though its not certain that their origin is in Underworld, players will combat them in Underworld. The same place where Shiro is thought to be locked up. But then again... Underworld is a big place with many nasty things locked up. It could also be the Darkness again, which were the first ambassadors of this Choas Army.
Anyway: 35 presents:
0x 1k gold
17x 5 Jade Wind Orbs
5x Rice Wine
13x Red Bean Cake

I know that~! :P
However, they also speak of a master. And since they've been to the Underworld... yeah:P
No, I don't hope it's Shiro. lol. I rather someone like the Lich, but bigger and badder.

Back at the Monastery.
It seems to be an easier mission, but enemies spawn through the rifts.
Anyone know the reward?

It's now harder than before... Keeping the gate shutdown is very hard...
WE've tried to kill fast, didnt work. We tried to leave someone behind to keep the gate capped, didnt work...

Hi
monastery mission is the hardest yet, simple on the surface, but its next to impossible to keep the rifts shut, and each time they open, very quickly 3 enemies will spawn to defend it.
the only way i can currently think is to have 4 peopel who can actually solo it, or maybe 2 teams of 2 who can cope with it, but either of these will be very hard.
not to mention, theres only an hours time window to enter, well be back to tsumei at 9

Too bad the "master" is only mentioned - we still don't know who/what it is.

Very frustrating indeed. Last group I was in could close them pretty safely, but it always seemed like the first would open when working on the third. Only managed to keep three closed for a few seconds when sticking togeather as a group.

Has anyone considered that 'the Fury' may have something to do with any of this? One thing I found odd about him is that he has an aura in town, I don't know why I found it odd, but I did....

Where did you get the idea that they're portals to the Underworld? If these Chaos creatures "invaded Underworld" (when all they did was invade Tombs) surely they had to have come from somewhere OTHER than the Underworld.

Banished Dream Riders and Terrorweb Dryders are, I know, but none of the rest are. Those two could potentially be explained away as "joining" the Chaos army--and in any case, the Riders and Dryders are hostile to the Underworld and Grenth themselves. Who says they're actually "from" the Underworld?
There is little to no evidence to support that the Chaos Rifts lead to and from the Underworld.
